This seminar is not to be missed!!

After a sell out seminar in 2017, Sharon May Davis will be presenting some more of her research to the general public. This evening is aimed at anyone who is curious about new developments and new research in equine anatomy and biomechanics, or who would like to know how they can recognise and help their horses with certain anatomical issues present in modern day horse.

Category:

Sharon May – Davis is known worldwide for her knowledge of the horses body and biomechanics. Sharon’s many dissections around the world has enabled her to research her work with many different breeds, her work as a researcher and therapist has truly driven her passsion and enabled her to see the true story – what is really going on underneath.

This seminar will be bringing all the latest and up to date research to date – covering;
The Congenital Malformation of C6 and C7.
This current research is being picked up by the Italians, Americans (UC Davis) and Willem Back at Utrecht (Willem Back wrote Equine Locomotion with Hilary Clayton) and Sue Dyson from the Animal Health Trust in the UK. The talk discusses the malformation and the potential ramification of riding such horses and the visual indicators to watch out for via veterinary work ups that have been videoed.
It will also look at the latest research regarding new findings occurring in the foot in relation to this, as well as how owners, riders and trainers can learn to stabilise the Caudal neck.
Sharon will also talk about her research with regards to Comparative anatomy between primitive and modern day horse and what it means to us as riders, trainers and therapists.

Sharon shares a wealth of knowledge that she has encountered in years of research, what the effects are on our present horse, how to adapt our way of training, what you as a therapist needs to know so that you can support the horse in the right way, what you need to know as hoof trimmer, which is important for you as a coach and or trainer.
